At 2CanGrow, we believe our pets should eat natural real food, just like what you’d want to eat for yourself. Our treats are made with limited, high-quality ingredients; real, locally sourced meat, which is gently cooked and freeze-dried to lock-in nutrients and freshness.

Unlike mass-produced pet treats filled with additives and fillers, we focus on pure, protein-rich nutrition that supports your pet’s health and happiness. 2CanGrow products are Canadian owned and proudly produced in Canada. We source all our meat locally from across Canada.  Our treats are carefully prepared by hand then freeze-dry them to make healthy and delicious treats for both cats and dogs.

All our treats are free from preservatives or additives and are grain free.

Unlike traditional processing methods, freeze-drying’s method combines gentle drying at low temperature and pressure to preserves nutrients, flavour, colour and texture without the need for artificial preservatives or additives. Since 2CanGrow’s promise is to keep things real and simple, the method of freeze-drying offers a great way to produce a tasty high-quality nutritious treat without compromising or damaging natural flavours, nutritional content or texture… and ensures your pet has a treat that is healthy and irresistibly paw-licking good!

As 2CanGrow treats are nutritious and healthy, they can be given to your pets at any time and as often as you like. It is advised that you provide your pet with fresh water to keep hydrated at all times.

While the freeze-drying process uses low temperatures and pressure, it does not cook the meat or kill any harmful bacteria that may cause foodborne illness. Instead, if the meat was contaminated, freeze-drying acts to slow down bacterial growth by removing water. This means that freeze-dried RAW foods may contain the bacteria from the raw food they came from… and are considered just as risky as unprocessed raw food.

Considering that most freeze-dried food currently available on the market is freeze-dried raw, at 2CanGrow we preferred to gently cook the meat in its broth to the recommended internal temperature before freeze-drying it. This protects our pets from the bacteria or parasites that are harmful risks of raw pet food.

All our treats are carefully hand prepared using locally sourced meat from different sources which can sometimes result in a variation in texture and colour. However, you can rest assured that our promise of natural locally sourced real meat that is gently cooked in broth then freeze dried is always consistent batch after batch.  

In commercial foods, manufacturers usually add binders and food colouring agents to the food during their processing to reduce inconsistency and ensure the product appears uniform every batch. At 2CanGrow, we do not use any binders, agents, enhancers or food colouring. Our treats are all 100% natural, which results in some natural variation.

2CanGrow treats are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

Feed them to your cat and/or your dog as a treat, for training or sprinkle as food topper. Your pet can enjoy these delicious treats dry or rehydrated with some water.  Make sure your pet always has access to fresh water.

Once opened, seal bag closed and store in a dry cool place for maximum freshness.

Absolutely! Because 2CanGrow treats are made of only high-quality real protein, they are suitable for all ages and life stages.  Just make sure to break the treat into smaller bites when necessary to be suitable for your kitten or your puppy.  Also make sure your pet always has access to fresh water.
